Childcare abuse investigation: computer still locked

Forensic experts have still not managed to access all the parts of the computer used by childcare abuse suspect Roberts Mikelsons, the Volkskrant reports on Monday.

Mikelsons used a very advanced encryption programme to hide files and was trying to destroy some when his home in Amsterdam was raided before Christmas, the paper quotes sources as saying.
During questioning, Mikelsons has given some access codes to police but these have not enabled IT experts to get into all parts of his computer, the paper says.
Mikelsons and two other men are suspected of involvement in the abuse of very young children at three daycare centres in the city.
