Top lawyer Moszkowicz was asked to be justice minister

Top criminal lawyer Bram Moszkowicz was ‘very recently’ approached about becoming justice minister, he says in an interview with the AD on Wednesday.

Moszkowicz, who counts Geert Wilders, leader of the anti-Islam PVV among his clients, said the offer had come too soon.
‘I can say no more about it. Let us just say the request reached me a little too soon. But as a debater I would not have been out of place in parliament,’ Moszkowicz said.
He declined to say which party had approached him. The job is currently filled by Ivo Opstelten of the right-wing VVD Liberals.
