Supreme court ends KPNQwest investigation

The highest Dutch court – the Council of State – on Friday ordered an end to KPNQwest’s bankruptcy investigation, reducing the likelihood that administrators can recover €4.2bn in unpaid debt from shareholders KPN and Qwest, news agency Reuters reports.


KPNQwest, a fibre glass telecoms joint venture between KPN and US phone firm Qwest was listed in 1999 but went bankrupt in 2002.
