IJsselmeer closed to shipping
Three icebreakers have been sent to the IJsselmeer lake north of Amsterdam in an effort to clear a path through the melting ice.
The lake has been closed to traffic since Thursday morning because strong winds and moving ice sheets are posing a danger to shipping.
