Fewer workers have a permanent contract

Some 5.7 million people in the Dutch workforce of 7.1 million have a permanent contract, down 111,000 on a year ago, the national statistics office CBS said on Wednesday.


Some 680,000 people are on flexible or temporary contracts while just over 700,000 people are freelancers who work for themselves.
