The bio diesel arm of Zeeland energy company Delta has been declared bankrupt..

Biovalue, which has had €85m in investments since 2004, was largely responsible for Delta’s crumbling profits last year.
Delta, owned by local and provincial government, booked net profit of just €7m in 2009, compared with €101m in 2008.
