DNA check sees man jailed for murdering school girl 17 years ago

A man was jailed for 15 years on Friday for the rape and murder of school girl Andrea Luten 17 years ago.

The 15-year-old’s body was found in woods in Drenthe in May 1993.
Henk F was charged with the crime earlier this year after a DNA match. He had been ordered to give a DNA sample following a conviction for domestic violence in November 2009.
Four different men have been arrested in connection with the crime over the past 17 years. One was taken to court but found not guilty for lack of evidence.
