The Dutch Argentine pilot Julio Poch, extradited to Argentina on charges of helping kill opponents of the military junta, has been released from jail on bail, the Telegraaf reports.

Poch denies involvement in death flights, in which opponents of the regime were drugged and thrown from planes.
In October, judges in Argentina ordered the prosecution to redevelop their case, saying they had failed to prove his involvement.

Evidence
Among the witnesses scheduled to be heard are several pilots for airline Transavia. Poch is alleged to have told a number of them he was involved in the death flights. Those claims were the basis for his arrest and deportation.
Poch, who has Dutch and Argentine nationality, was arrested in Spain in September 2009 while about to make his final flight for Transavia, where he has worked since 1988.
