Warmest November night since records began

The night of Wednesday to Thursday was the warmest November night since 1901 when records began, according to weather bureau KNMI.


At De Bilt, near Hilversum, where official weather readings are taken, the temperature did not drop below 14.5 Celsius, beating the previous record of 14.1 Celsius which dates back to 1968.
Night temperatures in November usually average around 10 Celsius.
