Netherlands second in short course swimming championships

The Netherlands finished second on the medal table at the European short course swimming championships in Eindhoven this weekend.


The Dutch squad ended up with nine gold, eight silver and five bronze. Germany topped the table with 10 gold, eight silver and four bronze.
Top Dutch performers were Inge Dekker and Ranomi Kromowidjojo, who both take home four gold medals – two individual titles and two team relay medals.
Robin van Aggele was the only man to win gold, in the 50m breast stroke.
