Liberals want to scrap chamber of commerce fees

The two Liberal parties VVD and D66, and the left-wing greens GroenLinks have called on the government to scrap the annual fee, which all companies pay to their local chamber of trade (KvK).

If the government agrees, the main source of income for the chambers will disappear.
In total, the fees cost industry €200m a year. Even one-man operated companies pay over €100 a year.
