Budget deficit revised upwards

The budget deficit is set to reach 0.9% of GDP by 2015, not 0.7% as earlier forecast, according to new calculations from the government’s macro-economic bureau CPB.


The estimates assume GDP growth of 1.25% a year and are based on government plans to cut spending by €27bn.
