Satnav maker TomTom turned down takeover offers

Dutch satellite navigation system maker TomTom has turned down a number of unwanted takeover bids, CEO Harold Goddijn said in the Sunday Times newspaper without naming names.


Nor did Goddijn say how long ago the approaches had been made.
TomTom is facing increasing competition from mobile phone makers who are building satnav systems into their products.
