Stamps to cost more

Wednesday 01 September 2010

TNT Post announced on Wednesday that the cost of a stamp will increase by 2 cents from 2011.

A stamp for a letter or postcard up to 20 grams in the Netherlands will rise from 44 to 46 cents and in Europe from 77 to 79 cents.

Stamps will no longer show the price but will be printed with a 1 for the Netherlands and a 2 for Europe.

It would be nice if there was an announcement of new and improved postal service to go along with the price hike.
I'm getting frustrated with having to re-deliver mail wrongly placed in my letterbox.

I am totally put out by the service given period!! Why does it take 3 months for mail to get from Zutphen to USA!! The service is very bad.

We also frequently get letters that are directed to other people who lived at the same address ages ago. Can't the post deliverers read the name on the door?
