PVV will continue to vote against EU expansion: WildersWednesday 15 September 2010 The anti-Islam PVV will continue to vote against any expansion of the EU, party leader Geert Wilders said on Tuesday evening in reaction to claims his party is planning to abandon its opposition. 'We were, are and remain opposed to every expansion of the EU and will therefore also vote against every expansion,' Nos tv quoted Wilders as saying. Earlier, Dutch world service radio reported European issues are to be included in the 'agree to disagree' agreement being worked out with the VVD Liberals and Christian Democrats. That deal will cover policy areas where the PVV does not agree with the minority CDA VVD government and will vote against them. But at the same time, the PVV will pledge not to bring down the government on any of those issues, meaning it could be forced to back expansion if no other parties support the government. Cabinet negotiator Herman Tjeenk Willink said earlier this week that Europe might be an area where the minority cabinet looks for support from other parties. But according to some media reports, Labour leader Job Cohen, for example, has already made it clear the party may be willing to vote against issues it supports in order to bring down a right-wing government. © DutchNews.nl
As expected the ruinous economic Wilders's way of thinking (assuming he has one), runs counter to our economic expansion. And therefore counter to our prosperity. I give it 3 months before it get dismantled and new elections are called, because Wielders changes his mined on a particular subject 2-3 times a day.
