Few church abuse claims can be taken to court

Most of the complaints about child abuse by Catholic officials made to the government committee investigating the scandal are too old to be prosecuted, the Nederlands Dagblad reports on Tuesday.
The committee has sent 26 cases to the public prosecution department which is taking action on just two, the paper says. The committee has had over 900 reports in total.
