Such a cowardly act of destruction deserves a very harsh punishment. I am positive our new government will persue this and punish whomever is responsible for this hateful act. VVD, PVV, and CDA will not tolerate crimes of any sort, whatsoever.

Violence is abhorrent. Violence directed at places of worship is, besides, sheer stupidity. Whether the arsonist subscribes to the religion represented by the target of the violence is irrelevant; in this case, it is unknown. Most people on earth have their own religious convictions, which everyone else should respect for the sake of peace and mutual love and understanding.

Nothing surprising. In Netherlands we have a minority Party whose reason for being is anti-Islamic culture, according their own manifesto. As well we have a Party leader on trial under accusation on incite hatred and violence. We have a Party trying to deploy Nazis practices (ethnic registration), and other practices from our most hated invaders (Koran ban from old Spanish Inquisition).
In other words, we are planting all you need to pick up our own 'night of broken glass', like in 1930s in Germany. Replace Jews by Muslims, and you can see the same picture.
