Poll puts the Netherlands in top ten places to live

The Netherlands is the eighth best place to live, according to the top 100 published in Newsweek.


The magazine looked at education, health care, the economy and the political situation in each country. The Netherlands scored better than the US and Germany, with its liberal school system coming in for particular praise.
Finland topped the poll, followed by Switzerland, Sweden, Australia, Luxemburg, Norway and Canada.
