Investment funds lose value

Investment fund assets dropped in value in the second quarter of 2010, reports Tuesday’s Financieele Dagblad. The loss was 4.5% at nearly €20 bn.

The fall can be partly attributed to revaluation. Stock exchange losses accounted for around 4%, although this was small when compared to the Amsterdam bourse which lost 8% in the same period.
Losses were limited by the strength of the dollar against the euro.
