Euregio writes to Verhagen

Euregio, the coalition of Christian Democrat parties in the Netherlands (CDA) and Germany (CDU), on Monday wrote an open letter to Dutch party leader Maxime Verhagen detailing its surprise and incomprehension that he is negotiating for Geert Wilders' cooperation with a minority government.
The letter states that Euregio finds Wilders' damaging and often embarrassing comments completely at odds with the ideology the two parties share and disseminate within European christian democracy, report the Dutch press.
