Car explodes in Amsterdam

A car exploded in Amsterdam on Wednesday night and police are investigating whether it may have been a deliberate attack.
The car, with two people in it, was on the Toronto bridge near the Amstel Hotel when it exploded. The driver and passenger escaped without injury, according to press reports.
The bridge is closed in both directions and it is not known when it will reopen.
