Insurance group Aegon said on Tuesday it has repaid €500m plus interest of the support it received from the Dutch government in 2008.


In November last year, Aegon paid back €1bn of the total €3bn it received.
Earlier this month Aegon reported second quarter net profit of €413m, up from a loss of €161m in the same period a year ago.
