Temperatures are expected to soar into the low 30s Celsius on Friday and at the weekend, the KNMI weather bureau warned on Thursday.

The KNMI has given an official yellow warning about the weather – the second highest phase in the European weather warning system.
The temperatures will be particularly high in the south of the country with an increasing risk of thunderstorms, the KNMI said.
Next week the temperature will drop to between 20 and 26 Celsius with sunny spells and showers.
In the Netherlands it is officially a heatwave when the temperature tops 25 Celsius for five days, of which three are over 30 Celsius.
