Dutch nun Theresa Brenninkmeijer, who heads the Maria Hjerte convent in Denmark, will not face charges over the death of an elderly nun, the Telegraaf reports on Tuesday.

Brenninkmeijer was questioned by Danish police about the death of a 75-year-old nun in 1993, whom she locked outside int he winter for disturbing mass.
A post mortem examination showed the nun died of a stroke, and Brenninkmeijer cannot be held responsible, Danish police told the paper.
