No Eurovision Song final for the Netherlands, again
The Dutch entry for the Eurovision Song Festival Ik ben verliefd (Sha-la-lie) failed to get through the semi finals of the event in Oslo on Thursday night.
It is the sixth year in a row that the Netherlands has failed to qualify for the final.
The Dutch language entry was written by Pierre Kartner, better known for the Smurfs, and sung by an unknown 18-year-old girl Sieneke accompanied by a street organ.
