Exports recovery continues
Dutch exports rose by 14% in volume terms in March, compared with March 2009, the national statistics office CBS said on Monday.
Exports are now back at almost their pre-financial crisis level, the CBS said.
The total value of exports was up 22% on a year ago at €32.5bn while imports were up 6%. Imports are still considerably below 2008 levels, the CBS said.
In 2009, only 6% of total Dutch exports went to Ireland, Greece, Spain and Portugal, the four eurozone countries with serious budget deficits, the CBS said.
