Canada invites the Netherlands to June G20 summit

The Netherlands has been invited to take part in the June G20 summit in Toronto, the fourth time in succession the Netherlands has been allowed to join as an observer.

The two-day conference held by the world’s biggest economic powers will focus on the financial and economic crisis.

Canada’s prime minister Stephen Harper was in the Netherlands a week ago, and the G20 was among the subjects discussed, the state information service RVD said.
