Violent crime down 19% since 2006

The number of incidents of violent crime in the Netherlands has fallen by 19% since 2006, and property theft and corporate crime is also less prevalent, the Telegraaf reports on Friday, citing national crime statistics to be published later on Friday.


But vandalism and other street crime is up 6%, the paper says.
The number of robberies had also increased, but reports are down 6% so far this year, the paper says.
