Tax office claims €54m from bankrupt car group

The tax office is claiming €54,776m from the bankrupt car import group Kroymans, according to documents submitted to the curators, the Telegraaf reports on Monday.


The curators have sold some 4,900 of the cars owned by the Kroymans group.
Kroymans which went bankrupt last year was the Dutch importer of Saab, Alfa Romea, Aston Martin, Kia, Hummer, Jaguar, Cadillac and Corvette. In 2008, Kroymans turned over €2bn, with a workforce of 4,000.
