MPs want answers on child killer pornography claims

MPs have called on justice minister Ernst Hirsch Ballin to answer questions on claims that a convicted child killer has been watching porn films in his cell at a psychiatric prison.

The claims were made in a tv show on Sunday night by crime reporter Peter R de Vries.
Koos H was jailed for life in the early 1980s for killing three girls, aged 11, 12 and 18.
During the show, De Vries showed parts of a letter from H to a friend in Thailand, asking for sex films, preferably featuring teenagers.
The show also claimed the deputy president of The Hague district court had close contacts with Koos H, visited him in his cell and at his home and helped him find a new lawyer.
MPs have told Hirsch Ballin they want him to look into these claims as well.
