Veendam police on hunt for arsonist

Police in Veendam, east of Groningen, suspect an arsonist may be responsible for a string of fires in the town centre after two more blazes on Tuesday night.

Last week a fireman was killed while trying to put out a fire in a shop. Both that, and another fire in a night club, had been started deliberately.
