Staffing agency USG People posted a loss of €31m in 2009 as turnover fell 25% on the 2008 level to €3bn.

Fourth quarter figures do not show much in the way of recovery in the Netherlands, where the company books some 50% of turnover, the Financieele Dagblad said.
Neverthless, the group says it is ‘cautiously optimistic’ about developments in early 2010, when turnover was down 16% on 2009.
