Rabobank stops Bizner internet bank

Rabobank is to stop its Bizner internet banking unit, set up in 2007 for small and medium-sized firms.

Rabobank said in a statement it had come to the conclusion a separate bank for this sector is unnecessary.

The bank, based in Eindhoven, has some 15,000 clients. Bizner's internet services will remain until 2011 but its activities are to be absorbed into Rabobank itself.
