Premiership race heats up as Ajax beats PSV

The race for the Dutch premier league title heated up at the weekend as number three Ajax thrashed number two PSV Eindhoven 4-1.
The win means the Amsterdammers are just one point behind PSV and six points behind the leaders FC Twente.
Twente beat ADO Den Haag 3-1 on Friday.
With seven matches to go in the championship, Ajax has the easiest remaining fixture list, on paper at least. Twente and PSV meet next weekend. And both Twente and PSV must still face the numbers four and five in the league, Feyenoord and AZ Alkmaar.
