Police officer admits to killing 12-year-old MillyWednesday 17 March 2010 A 26-year-old police officer has admitted killing 12-year-old Milly Boele on the evening she went missing from her home in Dordrecht, a justice ministry official said on Wednesday. The girl's body was found buried in the garden of the officer's home, opposite to where Milly and her parents lived. It is unclear if the girl was sexually assaulted. A post mortem is to be carried out on Friday. Neighbour Milly's last contact with her parents was a phone call, shortly before she disappeared. During the conversation she reportedly told her mother a 'neighbour' was at the door. Police said earlier the girl had spoken about a 'man'. Investigators had questioned all local men, including the police officer who aroused suspicion with some of his answers, the Telegraaf said. He later confessed the murder to his girlfriend who persuaded him to go to the police on Tuesday afternoon. The suspect, Sander V, has been a police officer for five years. He has not yet given any motive for the crime, the Telegraaf said. © DutchNews.nl
I cannot stop thinking about this case nor can I stop the tears from flowing. What in the hell is happening in this country? We can“t even trust our own police to protect us or our children? Now children are not even safe from police? This little girls life taken away because of some sick pervert that is suppose to be an agent of protection, I just cannot understand this at all! By SandraV | March 18, 2010 8:29 AM I agree, this is the civilized communities worst nightmare, when those who are suppose to protect us treat us as their prey. That said there is a fine line between the police mentality and that of a criminal's. It's no coincidence that police officers have one of the highest criminal abuse statics in the world. By Buzzer | March 18, 2010 4:17 PM There will always be a small percentage of mentally imbalanced people, considering the unnatural imbalance within our society. At least in this case, the human involved is seeking retribution and without external forces. By stevie | March 18, 2010 7:20 PM

What is Holland becoming!?
Seems the Dutch Police, also, need thorough psychological testing before being let loose on the trusting public.
