Amsterdam stock exchange boss quits
Wednesday 31 March 2010
Amsterdam stock exchange chairman Joost van der Does de Willebois is to stand down on June 1 after five years in the job.
He will be replaced by Cees Vermaas, 45, who is currently head of Euronext's European cash markets operations.
Euronext is the pan-European stock exchange organisation which includes Amsterdam.
'After more than five exciting years, I think this summer is the right moment to hand over my responsibilities to Cees, and to start thinking about the next phase of my career,' Van der Does de Willebois said in a statement.
