AMC to lead artificial pancreas programme

Amsterdam University’s medical centre said on Tuesday it is to lead a European project to develop an artificial pancreas for people with type 1 diabetes.


The consortium, made up of seven academic institutions and five private companies, will work on the project for the next four years. It has been given €10.5m in funding by the European Commission.
