Police are hunting an 18-year-old youth who escaped from his guard while on leave from psychiatric prison, Nos tv reports.

The youth was 16 when he was jailed for stabbing his 25-year-old neighbour in the chest with a kitchen knife while standing on an outbuilding roof.
The entire incident was filmed by a neighbour and placed on the internet.
The youth, Danny Trubert, was given one year in youth prison and eight years in psychiatric prison (tbs). His father Thierry was also jailed for failing to help the victim.
Trubert is the latest in a string of convicted criminals to escape while on leave from prison. It is not clear why Trubert was out of jail, but according to the Telegraaf, he had been hospitalised last week with a high temperature.
