Woman escapes from jail via a tunnelTuesday 23 February 2010 A 35-year-old woman has escaped from Breda jail after digging a tunnel several meters deep, Nos tv reports on Tuesday. A source told Nos the woman was serving jail time for murder and had at least 22 months of her sentence to go. She was living in a special re-socialisation unit rather than the main jail. The source said the woman dug the tunnel from cellar space under the kitchen using a spoon. Once under the pavement outside the prison, she broke through into the outside world by removing several paving stones. It is thought she may have had help with the final stages, Nos said. The justice ministry refused to comment on the escape. 'She too has the right to some measure of privacy,' a spokesman said. © DutchNews.nl

She was seriously taking her re-socialisation far too seriously. Another two years!
Why wait!
