Only eight premier clubs make a profit

Just eight of the 18 football clubs in the Dutch premier league made a profit in the previous season, according to new football association figures.
In total, the premier clubs lost a combined €31m. The league teams made a combined profit over the previous three seasons.
The football association did not name the loss-making sides.
In the first division, just six clubs made a profit.
On Friday, Nos tv reported that premier league clubs are considering cutting salaries in an effort to boost profitability.
