Couple rescued after ice walk

A couple who went for a walk on the frozen IJsselmeer lake to admire the ice mountains have been rescued by police helicopter after getting lost and wandering 3km from the shore.
The couple, both aged 66, warned the police that they had got into difficulties in localised mist. Police found them after a search using an infra red camera.
