The owner of an Italian pizza parlour in Leiden is to be prosecuted for secretly filming women who used the restaurant's rest room, the Telegraaf reports on Thursday.

Police seized a webcam and three boxes containing 96 videos of film after a worker at the restaurant discovered the camera and alerted the authorities. The films of women actually using the wc had been made over a three-year period.

The owner of the Sorrento restaurant told police he had installed the cameras to check for drugs use in the toilets and theft by personnel.

There have been a number of similar cases in the Netherlands in recent months.

This is old hat. Web cams have been placed in public toilets in many countries around the world. The then recorded digital info is then sold to internet sex sites for big money.

Besides that, most people are carrying a GPS in their cellphone, even if switched off, sends a signal from the battery.

There is nothing private anymore these days, even the loo is bugged, best thing is stay at home...he he!
