Wilders to show Fitna in London in March

Friday 29 January 2010

Anti-Islam MP Geert Wilders will travel to London on March 5 to show his short video compilation Fitna at the invitation of two members of the British upper house of parliament, the House of Lords.

Last February Wilders was refused entry to Britain to screen his film because the government said his presence would be a threat to public order.

But in October, a British immigration tribunal ruled Wilders should not have been refused entry.

He should be allowed to screen it and the press and people should just not cover anything about this screening.
To ignore someone is the worst of the insults ever made.

I saw the video, the quality and the supporting information provided shows that this could have been done by a kid at the age of 6 years.

Right on Juan. Just ignore him. That would hurt him more then anything cause he is nothing but a media whore.

I saw it too and thought that film is totally retarded. Going around to show that film is like telling people how stupid he is.

Is it just the House of Lords, or is he doing a tour of other geriatric care homes too?

Yeah, the quality of the film is astoundingly bad. It's like a student assignment from middle school.

The Fitna film simply, if crudely, juxtaposes passages from the Koran with images of the actual consequences of the literal interpretation of those passages in the real world. Islam has not even begun to address the issue of the obscene bigotry enshrined in it's holy book, and as long as muslims insist that the koran is the holy word of God and above criticism, it never will.

Europe is being colonized by people who believe that all man made law, whether national or international, including international human rights legislation, is subservient to sharia law.

The clear duty of the civilised world is to oppose the spread of Islam, and Geert Wilders is the champion of that cause. As an Englishman, I welcome his visit to Britain, and look forward to the day we get a politician in the United Kingdom who displays the same courage and strength of conviction to stand up and say the same things he's saying.

An Islamic enlightenment is nowhere on the horizon, and until it goes through the sort of reformation that happened in Europe three centuries ago, it's spread must be halted. The people of Europe are beginning to realize this in ever greater numbers. The politicians of Europe need to take that fact on board..

A policy totally opposed to a particular religion discriminates the people whether they belong to it or not. This makes such kind of policy not better than the ordinary religious extremism.

My opinion is that the public appearances of Wilders should be ignored indeed, but he and his party should be kept under eye, because it can start dangerous polarization in the Dutch society.

as you said ,zen .. telling people how stupid he is !

I saw it too. It was powerful. It was courageous, and all too tragically true.
Juan, Zen, Langer, just keep congratulating yourselves and "whistling past the graveyard". One day you'll grateful for this man's courage

Well I saw this video and I thought it was very informative. As the video is regarding the qur'an
it's easy to see for yourself. Geert is right.

Good luck in your trial defending free speech Geert any sane freedom loving person sends their support to you.

I too, saw the film. I found it to be powerful and all too tragically true.
One day Mr. Wilders detractors will be grateful for this man's courage.

The film has accurate quotations from the Quo'ran but the Quo'ran like any holy book can be used out of context and in the wrong sense. Believing all Muslims are like the ones in the film is VERY WRONG, we should fight against Terrorism... and our fight should be with the Terrorists only not the general public.

I'm fed up with this movie. Does he has better things to do than insisting on showing this movie. People had enough. It is becoming like a bad quality broken record. Wilders if you cannot help this grate nation to advance? then get a pet or make your self busy with some thing ells.

Wilders has every right to criticize the totalitarian militant Islam threat to the West. Religion deserves criticism, especially when it tries to undermine government law. Respect should be earned, not dictated!!!

His film is merely an example of how the escalating radical movement of Islam ignores our way of life, and is ambitiously trying to change the world.

The problem is being able to differentiate the good guys from the bad ones...

The film showed mostly clips of actual news coverage and demenstrations from radical Muslims that called death to America and death to Israel. Also showed actual film clips of 9-11 terrorists attack by radical muslims. Other then that, I didn´t see one part in the film of Wilders saying anything negative or racist. As a matter of fact, I don´t think Wilders said a thing. However, the radical Muslims said it all themselves in plain view for the whole world to see them on live television news. All Wilders did was bring it to the open to remind everyone what these thugs in this film want to do to innocent people in USA and Israel and the West.
