Two in court for anti-Wilders lawyer threats

Two men are to appear in court next week charged with threatening top lawyer Gerard Spong, news agency ANP said on Monday.

The threats are just two of the dozens received by Spong after he went to court calling for anti-Islam MP Geert Wilders to be prosecuted for inciting hatred.
One of the two, a 45-year-old man from Spijkenisse near Rotterdam, is said to have called Spong a ‘ filthy, disgusting traitor’ who deserves the death penalty. The other, a 71-year-old man from Amsterdam, threatened to shoot the lawyer.
