Dutch music exports rise 15%

The export of popular Dutch music rose 15% to €50.2m last year, according to recording industry body Buma Cultuur, quoted by news agency ANP.
The biggest names abroad are again the djs Tiësto, Armin van Buuren and Ferry Corsten, with popular violinist André Rieu completing the line-up.
In the rock sector, bands such as Epica, Antillectual, Born from Pain and Within Temptation also performed well, ANP said.
The €52m export value is made up of 29% author's rights, 17.5% broadcast and performance rights and 53% from live performances abroad, Buma said.
