Dutch families confirmed dead on Haiti

Two Dutch couples in Haiti to pick up their adoptive children are confirmed dead in last week’s earthquake, the foreign ministry said on Wednesday.

The four adults and their three new children were staying in the Hotel Therese which collapsed in the quake. Three Dutch nationals are still missing on the island, the ministry said.
Meanwhile, a flight carrying over 100 Haitian children being adopted by Dutch families will arrive in the Netherlands on Wednesday evening, the Telegraaf reported.
