Moped licence test delayedTuesday 01 December 2009 The introduction of a compulsory practical driving test for moped owners has been delayed until at least March next year, the Bovag motoring organisation told the Telegraaf on Tuesday. The test, which will also involve compulsory lessons for learner drivers, should have been introduced on January 1. The aim of the new test, which is in addition to the theory test, is boost road safety. A spokesman for transport minister Camiel Eurlings declined to comment on the reports. © DutchNews.nl
Yes! The 16 - 25 year old group, grab them all! Make them all take lessons and take a test! That should do wonders for all that excessive testosterone! Some of the kids are in to sex & drugs, others prefer football & mopeds, but please don't tell me that lessons and tests will make any of them (or us) safer on the roads! This is yet again a money-making operation designed for mass-milking! Driving safely on the road comes with experience (Age) and not tests! Lessons and tests will rake in loads of cash, mainly from parents who are already financially stressed enough. Personal selfish note: This is just another Balk-Bender-Ellender con for yet more milking! Footnote:

1st they need to workout a plan with the manufacturers of these mopeds to ensure that everyone buying a moped understands social responsibility - something they don't have the foggiest idea about at present!
And, as the engines are so small, why do they disproportionately produce so much noise, smell, and environmental pollution?
