House price fall levels off slightly

House prices fell 4.7% in November, compared with November 2008, but the decline was less than the drops recorded in October and September, the national statistics office CBS said on Monday.
The number of homes changing hands was down 14% in November. However, over the first 10 months of the year the number of house sales was down between 25% and 50%, the CBS said.
House prices fell most in Flevoland (5.9%) and least in Zeeland (3.4%).
