Dutch man attacked by crocodile

A 26-year-old Dutch man has been attacked and badly bitten by a crocodile in Malawi, the Telegraaf reports.

Local police said Martin Mulder, who is travelling in Africa with two friends in a camper van, was dragged for three kilometers before he was freed. He had apparently been swimming with his dog in a river when attacked.
He is being treated in hospital for bites to his buttocks, legs and hand and has had at least 20 stitches, the paper says.
