Dutch frigate picks up pirates

Dutch frigate De Evertsen has picked up 13 pirates trying to hijack a merchant ship of the coast of Oman on Wednesday, news agency ANP reports.
The Evertsen is part of the EU mission to protect ships taking food aid to Somalia and other vulnerable vessels in the waters near Somalia, ANP said.
It is not yet clear where the pirates will face trial.
